The player's clubhouse is set up inside the old prison chapel beside the field.
Temporary bleachers are set up in the shadow of the guard tower down the first base line.
More bleachers are set up behind the right field fence, up against the old cell block.
The proximity of the cell block to home plate led to a ground rule where balls hit over the fence into the right field stands only counted as doubles. To hit a home run a batter had to hit or clear the cell block roof.

More temporary bleachers sit behind the outfield wall. A large net stands above the chain link fence and home runs to left and center field have to clear the net.
Due to limited seating capacity at the temporary Old Joliet Prison stadium, additional seating was sold in the adjacent prison yard where fans could bring their own chairs and watch the game on video screens. A stage was also set up for musical performances.
