An old railroad shed was converted into part of Riverwalk Stadium, and the luxury boxes along the first base side are built into the shed building. The train shed also acts as the main entrance to the ballpark, with fans entering and buying tickets inside the building. Half of the first base concourse is open to the field, with the concession stands located inside the railroad building. The outfield wall bulges out into the field of play in right field, creating a deep curve. An advertising bullpen extends the height of the fence in a unique way. |
