The view from down the first base line. The pressbox sits atop the roof of the main grandstand, one of the few parks still using the rooftop pressbox. A small wooden party deck sits beside the third base bleachers, with the visitor's bullpen in the outfield corner beyond. A smaller wooden bleacher section and a covered picnic area sit in front of the home bullpen on the first base side. McDonough Park features a wide area of foul territory in front of the backstop and down both base lines. A plaque along the concourse celebrates Joseph McDonough, the towns former sports manager for whom the park is named. |
