Banners on the concourse celebrate the Saltdogs, as well as championships won by the Nebraska Cornhuskers baseball team. Picnic table seating runs along the concourse on the third base side, and the home bullpen sits in the left field corner. Berm seating sits where the home bullpen is on the first base side, so the visitor's bullpen is located behind the outfield fence. An enclosed children's play area looks out onto the field of play from behind the right field foul pole. Downtown Lincoln and Memorial Stadium, home of Nebraska Cornhusker football, provide the backdrop for a game at Haymarket Park. The outfield wall forms sharp corners on either side of the batter's eye in center field, and ribbon boards jut out into the field of play. |
