The luxury boxes are stacked two high on the first base side. The stadium structure on that side is meant to resemble a converted railroad warehouse, making the luxury suites give off the feel of loft apartments. The industrial warehouse feel continues on the concourse with corrugated steel concession stands and I-beam supports. Section signage celebrates former Birmingham players like Michael Jordan. A large, glass-encased event room sits above the seating bowl on the third base side. The rooftop light stanchions are reminiscent of Birmingham's historic Rickwood Field. Regions Field opens up into downtown Birmingham's Railroad Park, and food trucks park just outside the gate. The outfield fence features several sharp corners, and the wall is significantly taller in right field. |
