Perry Field featured grass base paths leading to and from the plate. The grandstand at McKethan Stadium as seen from center field. The seating bowl extends much farther down the left field line than the right. The pressbox sits at the top of the grandstand. Banners at the top commemorate the Gators SEC titles and the team's College World Series title is celebrated on the front. Chairback seating makes up the first few rows in front of the walkway as well as the entirety of the sections behind home plate. Small bleacher sections sit behind the outfield fence under the Spanish Moss in the McKethan Stadium parking lot. The Dizney Plaza, an open picnic area with drink rails sits atop the batting cages and home bullpen in the left field corner of the park. The O'Connell Center, home of Florida Gators basketball, and Ben Hill Griffin Stadium, home of Gators football, stand behind the ballpark. A small bench is set up behind the left field foul pole to allow bullpen pitchers a view of the field. The outfield fence, which becomes chain link where the visitors bullpen sits behind the right field wall. |
