Park Name: Salt River Fields at Talking Stick Tenants: Salt River Rafters (Arizona Fall League) Arizona Diamondbacks (Cactus League) Colorado Rockies (Cactus League) Opened: 2011 Address: 7555 North Pima Road, Scottsdale, Arizona 85258 Dimensions: 345' (L), 410' (C), 345' (R) A large party deck sits behind home plate, on top of the pressbox and covered by the overlapping roof. The seating bowl is one of the largest in the Cactus League, as the hometown Diamondbacks draw large crowds for Spring Training games. The concourse wraps all the way around the field, but is set lower at the infield than in the outfield. The open concourse provides a view of one of the practice fields in the complex, allowing some fans to watch two games at once. A miniature diamond also sits on the center field concourse, allowing kids a place to run around during the game. Plaques on the concourse celebrate the history of baseball in the area. The park is located within the Salt River-Maricopa Indian Community and celebrates the history of tribe teams. The park features large outfield berms to accommodate the large Spring Training crowds, and cacti grow on the batter's eye. Small seating sections with handicapped seating options ring the top of the berms, and Rafters retired numbers hang behind the concourse. Separate team shops sit in each corner of the park for each of the complex's two Spring Training tenants. The park's logo, on the left of the store, is a combination of a snake head for the Diamondbacks and a mountain for the Rockies. The Diamondbacks clubhouse and the scoreboard overlook the playing field from the left field corner. The view from the Diamondbacks bullpen in left field. The outfield fence is slightly shorter in the corner where the bullpen bench is set into the wall.
