The Professional Baseball Scouts Hall of Fame exhibit on the wall outside the main entrance to the park. CHS Field bills itself as the "Greenest Ballpark in America" and signs along the outfield concourse describe the process the field uses to collect rainwater and reuse it for sprinklers and restroom use. The Saint Paul Farmer's Market sits just outside the ballpark, and serves as parking for many Saints games. CHS Field features a set of viewing binoculars on the outfield concourse, allowing fans to get a good look at the game and of the city skyline. Saints team offices are visible from the right field concourse, as full length windows open them up to fans inside the ballpark. The grandstand wraps around to face home plate in the outfield corner, leading to less foul territory in the outfield than in the infield. The outfield wall features several sharp corners, a drastic change in height in right field, and a line scoreboard on the right field fence. A small alcove is formed in the left center field corner where the maintenance tunnel enters the field. |
