The view from down the third base line.

The backstop and seating areas at Graves Field, as seen from left field.

The only permanent seating is one small bleacher section behind home plate, but there is plenty of space for fans to set up their own chairs, including under the shade of a large tree.

The press box is a small table set up against the backstop.

The batting cages and both bullpens are out of play on the first base side of the field.

Graves Field sits on the campus of Southern Maine Community College, which itself sits on the former site of Fort Preble. Former fort hospital and barracks buildings turned campus buildings stand next to the field.

Graves Field sits right on the beach, with only SMCC’s Graves Softball Field sitting between the left field fence and the shore.

The softball outfield fence becomes the left field fence for the baseball diamond, causing the left field wall to curve back in toward the field in the opposite direction as the rest of the fence.
